Every little bit will help - $1, $5, $10, etc... This is an amazing cause and I am so happy to be supporting St. Jude and I am grateful they are giving

me an entry to race in the Chicago Marathon once we reach our fundraising goal. The Chicago Marathon entry is done by lottery and that is over - the race is full (around 45,000 runners) as it is one the 6 World Marathon Majors (Chicago, New York, Tokyo, Berlin, London & of course - Boston).

However, it is possible to participate in the race if you are willing to step up and fund raise for a special charity! So I'm stepping up and I am very very VERY excited to be supporting St. Jude and to have the opportunity to represent them and YOU in the Chicago Marathon this fall.

Amazing effort straight out of the gate from our donors !

Within the first 12 hours of announcing my intent to raise money for the Chicago Marathon and raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, we had met over 50% of our fund raising goal and my own mother had donated flying miles for my plane ticket to the race!

I am speechless, I am honored and I am humbled by the generosity I am seeing !

As of this upcoming Saturday,  I will have raced in 5 half marathons, a biathalon, a duathalon, a triathalon, two 5k's and a 10 k within the last 12 months.

I will not let down our donors nor St. Jude. I will train diligently for this event and if the good lord is willing, I will remain healthy and be in Chicago to "bring it". 

I am thankful for the opportunity to raise money for St. Jude and for St. Jude giving me entrance into this prestigious event, once we have met our fund raising goal of $1200.

Thank you for helping me and for helping St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Together we can all make a difference.  Together we can achieve greatness !
