"We toss so much food because we're not sure if it's safe to eat past the 'sell by' date. A federal bill... would standardize food date labels and could reduce waste in the process.

-- pick up food in West Stockbridge on Wednesdays, store it overnight at your place
 
-- deliver it to the People's Pantry in Great Barrington sometime before 9 am on Thursdays.
