Punctuation Angst
Gary Silverman caricature Nowadays, a period doesn't always need to end a sentence, but it could help to end a friendship. What am I talking about? Texting. We've all known that texting can lead to miscommunication, but now some researchers have discovered that the very act of being grammatically correct by ending your sentence with a period in a text can make you look like a jerk. 

What a world. Period.

Yikes! Even though it's from a robot, it's still a distressing call to get. Luckily, it's a scam. The IRS never calls to demand immediate payment. Unfortunately, many people have become victims of this scam. Read more here...

The best time for strawberries is from late April to August, but no matter--somebody decided that February 27 is a day dedicated to all things strawberry (it's also National Kahlua Day, but I liked this picture better), so let's celebrate!
