Upcoming Seminar Announcement
finger-keyboard.jpg The year is almost over. Yes, we still have Thanksgiving and Christmas to look forward to, but we also have to look forward to  the end of the calendar year and the upcoming tax season. A few things to think about:
  • Charitable donations. If you want them to count for tax year 2015, it's time to do it. Read more from the IRS .
  • Required Minimum Distributions (RMD). If you are 70 1/2 or older, you need to take your RMD from your IRA before the end of the year. Best to get the wheels in motion by the beginning of December.
If you are in the Wichita Falls area, I hope you will join us for our annual End of Year Tax and Market Update Seminar. Here's more info:

It's funny because it's true

Tina came across this "financial" article and thought it would be a good way to end the newsletter. After all, it's important to save for the luxuries in life; you can't get "money for nothing." Enjoy this story from The Onion.
