The federal debt (which, being that you're part of this country, is your debt, too) has now reached over
$18 TRILLION.

According to the Treasury Department, in order to eliminate our $483 billion deficit from fiscal year 2014, individual income taxes paid by American taxpayers would have to increase by 35%.
