Howdy! 
Last weekend, the 32nd annual Hotter'n Hell 100 bike ride took place in Wichita Falls, Texas. This is one of the oldest and largest cycling events in the United States. Racers and riders come from all over the country and the world to participate. I didn't ride (I don't even own a bike), but I was at Rest Stop Four with Grace Church providing water, Poweraid, snacks, and encouragement to the riders around the 40-mile mark. If you are a rider, I encourage you to try out the next one. Don't worry, there are many routes that are a lot less than 100 miles.
The first Labor Day celebration was held in the late 1800's, but this year marked the 100 year anniversary of the Department of Labor.
