Why Follow-up Matters
with Susan Sly

This past Friday, I met a wonderful esthetician while having a facial.  The topic quickly turned to health and I found out that this young woman, although overtly seeming to look fantastic, was indeed having some challenges.  She was immediately interested in Isagenix.  I said, 'if I send you some information, will you take a look?'  She was already on the mobile site as I pulled out of the parking lot.  Over the course of the weekend, we exchanged communication four times until Sunday evening when I received the email we all crave, 'New Associate Enrollment.'  What if I hadn't followed-up and checked in?  What if I had just let things run their course and allowed her to find me?  Do you think she would have enrolled?

According to the firm, Marketing Donut, who monitor sales trends, very few people follow-up and those that do are richly rewarded.  Check out the following statistics:
My own beautiful sponsor, Deborah, followed-up with me no fewer than twenty-one times.  Top earner of all time, Jimmy Smith, followed up with George Ruiz over ten months and Randal Burt over three years.  Follow-up is a serious business especially for those who are determined to generate income with Isagenix, or any form of business.

I am often asked, 'Susan - when should I stop following-up?  I do not want to be pushy.'  This is a valid question and understandably none of us wants to be that person that people want to avoid.  My personal opinion is that we should always use heart.  Let people know that we want the best for them and that we truly feel that Isagenix is a big part of it.

Follow-up is always more effective when people feel that you truly care.  With the gal that I newly welcomed, I was very clear that I wanted to help her.  I shared with her that my passion is to truly help people feel their best because in that place we are unstoppable.  Regardless of her decision, I wanted her to get to the next level of health and assured her that should she decide to give Isagenix a go, I would coach her.

As human beings we want to know that someone cares.  Sometimes, an illustration of our level of caring is provided by the number of times we follow-up.  I have never met one Isagenix millionaire who was not grateful for their enrolling sponsor following-up with them.  I have never met one person in the one hundred pound club who was bitter that a person cared enough to follow-up on multiple occasions.  I have never met one IsaBody finalist who dismissed the person who introduced them to Isagenix as too pushy.  In fact, everyone who like myself took multiple follow-ups and went on to create exceptional results, only has one regret - they made their sponsor follow-up too often.

The thing I want you to know is that many of the best people who will ever be a part of your team, both consumers and business builders alike, will quite possibly require multiple follow-ups.  It may test you.  You may get frustrated.  You may even feel like you want to quit however...on that fateful day when the person who tested your resolve the most walks across a stage or posts their transformation photos for IsaBody, it will have all been worth it.

I encourage you to follow-up and embrace it as a part of doing business.  If you really want to take your skills to the next level I encourage you to join myself and my dear friend, the master of follow-up, Jeffery Combs, on the Monday Night Team Call where Jeffery will share the techniques for effective follow-up and handling objections.  'See' you there.

Let's link arms and create an exceptional week,

Susan

Sugar Smarts: How Sugar Is Used Purposefully in Isagenix Products
When you look at ingredient labels of Isagenix products, you'll probably notice that some of them include small amounts of sugar. These might occur in different forms or a combination of forms, including dextrose, sucrose, fructose, honey, molasses, and agave syrup-the total of which never exceeds the amount of a medium-sized apple.

Regardless, we know that a few of you might have questions about the overall use of different sources of sugar in Isagenix products. So our Research and Science Team has chosen to respond to some of the most frequently asked questions about sugar collected from our Ask the Nutritionist booth at Isagenix Celebration 2015.
