Preschool Celebrates Valentines Day
Our youngest artists are celebrating Valentine's Day this week with art, music, creative movement, and storytelling activities-- including a Valentine's Prince & Princess Workshop this past Saturday!

Faculty Focus
Dance teacher Hattie Weselyk's jewelry has just been picked up by "Best of Philly" shop Arcadia Boutique, for sale in both its Rittenhouse Sq. and Northern Liberties locations. Hattie also teaches Jewelry Making at Darlington and is now accepting new students for Session II beginning April 6th. Register here!

Barbara Prugh, trumpet teacher, will be performing in West Chester on Sunday, March 3rd at the Church of the Loving Shepherd. Barbara will be accompanied by Kathleen Scheide (organ), and the program will include pieces by Bach, Schumann, and more.

Jackie Dunleavy, voice teacher, is performing on March 17th at the First United Methodist Church of Phoenixville at 7pm. Accompanied by Dawn Stevens (piano) and Samantha Wittchen (harp), Jakie will perform traditional Irish ballads and rousing folk songs that explore the heritage of Irish writers and poets.

Drama instructor Pat Jordan performed as Mary Todd Lincoln at the National Portrait Gallery's Inaugural Celebration last month. She will be returning for the Gallery's Family Day next Saturday.
Student Announcements

Darlington Dance Company is performing next Saturday, February 23 at the Delaware Family Expo in Wilmington. See their performance at 1:30pm and stop by and say "hello" at Darlington's Camp table to enter to win a free week of Summer Camp!

Julia Hacker, administrative assistant, participated in PMEA's District Orchestra and District Band last month and will be in Region Band on March 9.

Sabrina Zhang, student of Lingchin Liao, was selected for 7th and 8th grade String Fest on March 1.

Mae Hacker, student of Cindy Campetti, was selected for 5th and 6th grade Strings Fest on March 15.
