Greetings!

WOW! This is that thing called "winter" that we missed last year, I guess. Luckily for all of us, there are a lot warm arts opportunities that happen INdoors.

I'd like to start this month's ArtsLetter with a huge THANK YOU to all the Partners-in-the-Arts that helped us exceed our 2012 fundraising goals. Thanks to your support and belief in our mission, CAP can continue to create opportunities for the arts, artists, and audiences of Tompkins County.

Some of those opportunities are featured in this issue, including the announcement of our 2012 CAP Fellowship winners, the 2013 CAP workshop schedule, and a LOAD of calls for artists and other arts opportunities. When you get a chance, you should also check out our online RESOURCE GUIDES. Robin has been working furiously to add new information and keep them up-to-date.

STAY WARM!

Greenback
CAP is excited to join the coalition of local organizations taking part in Get Your GreenBack Tompkins, a community-based campaign to inspire all 42,000 households and every business in Tompkins County to take at least one step to save energy and money.

There are some simple and affordable ways for artists and organizations to "take a step" this year...here's the latest from our friends at the campaign:

Hey, who let the heat out? February is Building Energy month for Get Your GreenBack Tompkins. Heating and electricity represents over 40% of energy use and carbon emissions in Tompkins County, and if you've looked at your heating bill you know what that means in dollars and cents.

Feeling inspired? Go for a full energy upgrade and see energy savings of up to 60% in your utility bills. Or join 100s of others hosting energy socials. Host a Kill-a-Watt Crackdown to eliminate electricity waste. Bring friends and neighbors together for an Efficiency Epic to cut down your heating bills and make your home more comfortable.
Go to  getyourgreenback.org to learn about options for reducing your energy use.

13,000 people have already taken a step. What's yours? getyourgreenbacktompkins.org.
