 THE KITCHEN THEATRE PRESENTS:
Selling Out
Nov 28 - Dec 16
Brian Dykstra Selling Out is the latest uncensored solo tour de force from HBO def poet, award winning playwright and actor, Brian Dykstra. The Village Voice says, "Brian Dykstra is working hard to turn ranting into a new genre, and if he succeeds, comedy might not be safe. He can make you think as hard as you laugh." You don't want to miss his latest exploration of the American Condition. From the power of money to the pursuit of happiness, Dykstra questions everything. Part lecture, part rant, Brian Dykstra Selling Out is a call to action and a highly charged, wildly comic theatrical event.
Ages 16+, adult language

Ithaca College Theatre Presents: Translations December 4 - 9, 2012
Irish playwright Brian Friel sets Translations in a small Irish village in the days leading up to widespread starvation. British soldiers arrive whose task is to draw a new map of Ireland, replacing all Irish place names with names in English, a language the villagers neither speak nor understand. In the face of this extinction of their cultural heritage and identity, the citizens are forced to choose whether to follow or fight.
