You don't want to miss his latest exploration of the American Condition. From the power of money to the pursuit of happiness, Dykstra questions everything. Now the Ithaca community shares the global experience as the African Children's Choir comes to The State Theatre.

Irish playwright Brian Friel sets Translations in a small Irish village in the days leading up to widespread starvation. British soldiers arrive whose task is to draw a new map of Ireland, replacing all Irish place names with names in English, a language the villagers neither speak nor understand. In the face of this extinction of their cultural heritage and identity, the citizens are forced to choose whether to follow or fight.
