MUUUCE - 30 Years of Awesome!

MUUUCE turns 30 this year! To celebrate, the theme is Pixels: When we come together, we make a beautiful picture! #bettertogether
 
For those of you unfamiliar with MUUUCE, it is an unforgettable, spiritual, high-energy three-day event designed for hundreds of middle schoolers and jr. highers who are connected to Northwest Conference churches. The MUUUCE team at Crossroads Church (Woodbury) spends months designing an event full of moments that, by God's grace, lead students to a relationship with Jesus Christ. MUUUCE also provides NWC youth pastors and youth leaders rich opportunities to be able to build relationships with their young students.

Minnehaha Academy
Boys' Baseball Team is 2A State Champs!

June 20 was an exciting day for Redhawk Baseball. For the first time in school history the team took home the 2A State Title. The Redhawks played a close game against Belle Plaine at Target Field, trailing 1-0 until the fifth inning. 
 
The Pioneer Press' Jace Frederick wrote, "Minnehaha Academy's rally was started in the fifth by the sparkplugs of its order - its No. 8-9-1 hitters - as Kenny Kiralti walked, Retzlaff walked and Andrew Wolpert singled to give Minnehaha Academy its first run. That opened the floodgates, as the Redhawks scored five fifth-inning runs on two hits, four walks and a Belle Plaine error."
 
"We always just find a way to win games," Minnehaha senior Alex Fede-Johnson told the Pioneer Press. "I think that's what good teams do, and we found a way today."

Please make note that NWC Superintendent Mark Stromberg will be out of the office from Tuesday, July 19, through Monday, Sept. 5 (Labor Day), on Sabbatical and unavailable throughout his time away. Upon return, he will then be at Superintendent meetings the week of Sept. 5 and will have limited ability to respond in a timely manner during that time.

His first day back in the office will be Tuesday, Sept. 13. During his time away, please contact the NWC office with any questions or needs and you will be directed to another appropriate staff person. Mark thanks you in advance for your patient understanding during his absence.
