Creating safe spaces

Thursday, Nov. 19, from Noon to 2 p.m. at Salem Covenant Church

Caring for the most vulnerable, children's ministry often leads the way when it comes to creating safe place policies and procedures at church. Let's put our heads together to unpack the overwhelming task of safety and security in children and family ministry.

From lock-downs to weather emergencies, background checks to volunteer training, bring your best ideas and most perplexing questions. We'll problem-solve together, and hopefully make this enormous task of creating safe spaces for our most vulnerable a little less overwhelming.

Pre-Midwinter Children and Family Ministry Connection

Plans are underway for a children and family ministry connection in Chicago the weekend before Midwinter. Cost is $99 and includes training, worship and a chance to connect on a national level with children and family ministry leaders in the Covenant church. Register here:
