Sticky Faith Cohorts

Is your church interested in exploring how Sticky Faith can be utilized in your ministry setting? Consider being a part of a Sticky Faith Cohort. Fuller Youth Institute is currently accepting applications for 2016 cohorts.

MUUUCE 2015

Do you have students who are transitioning into middle school? Consider MUUUCE! This is a fun three-day event for middle schoolers and junior highers, held at Crossroads Church in Woodbury, Aug. 5-8.

Oct. 10, 2015.

Imagine training event with Connected Families (www.connectedfamilies.org). This event is free for children and family ministry leaders and volunteers serving Covenant churches in the Northwest Conference. Jim and Lynn Jackson from Connected Families will present a two-part seminar on "Discipline that Connects with your child's heart" for ministry leaders. Lunch is included. Twin Cities metro location to be determined.

Monthly Children & Family Ministry Connections

Our monthly connections begin Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015. Other dates for 2015-2016 are Oct. 22, Nov. 19, Jan. 21, 2016, Feb. 18, 2016, March 17, 2016, April 21, 2016, May 19, 2016. Metro location from Noon-2 p.m.

Human Sexuality Conversations

Nov. 14, 2015

Postureshift workshop for pastors and lay leadership with Bill Henson. Bill presented this on May 27 for pastors and it was well-received, so we are offering it again for lay leaders.

If you'd like to be a part of a smaller discussion group with Covenant pastors, led by Dr. Gary Strauss, please email jessa@northwestconference.org for more information. Dr. Strauss will also join children and family ministry leaders at a Connection gathering this fall.

Dr. Mark Yarhouse will present a workshop for pastors, ministry staff and lay leaders on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Location to be determined.
