Recharge Twin Cities is this weekend! Meet us for lunch.

Recharge is this Saturday, Jan. 10, from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at Grace Fellowship Church in Brooklyn Park, MN. Make sure to join other Covenant churches for lunch! Grab a box lunch and head to room 264/268.

Recharge is a one-day conference focusing on encouraging and equipping leaders who are impacting the lives of kids and students. More details about the event can be found at www.ministryrecharge.com

Youth Pastor's Connection - Jan. 15

We're meeting from 12 to 3 p.m. at Salem Covenant in New Brighton.

This month, we're focusing on Youth Ministry Management: get tips on the basics of ministry management, especially finances, risk management, productivity and scheduling. Bring your list of the best apps for ministry.

Youth Ministry Management Tools 2.0 will be available for purchase for $20 (it lists at $39.99). Bring a lunch.

Our dates for 2015 are February 19, March 19, April 16, and May 21.

All Things CHIC 2015 ...

Early bird registration for CHIC ends January 14. After that, the price goes up to $649. www.chic2015.org

Taking a NWC bus? It's only $205 and you don't have to worry about sleepy drivers and the church van breaking down in the middle of a cornfield. A $100 per-person deposit is due March 1. http://northwestconference.org/chic-2015-bus-info

CHIC Scholarships

We're raising scholarship money to help out churches with NWC transportation costs. If you have former students, or families, who were impacted at CHIC, would you ask them to give to Get Northwest Conference Kids to CHIC at http://www.youcaring.com/other/get-northwest-conference-kids-to-chic/265502? We chose YouCaring.com because they don't charge any fees for administration (just a small credit card fee). Our goal is 100 $100 scholarships.

Midwinter January 25-27

Every year, Covenant leaders gather for a week of education and encouragement. This year, we're in Denver. On Sunday, those of us from the NWC are meeting for lunch. Haven't registered yet? There are still reasonable flights from MSP. For more info: http://www.covchurch.org/midwinter/ywc/

MOVE - April 10-11

MOVE is the NWC's high school service and learning experience. We're at Minnehaha Academy's South Campus this year. Registration coming in early February.

Adventures in Leadership - June 20-27

Nominate one or two of your students who have strong leadership traits for an intense, week-long leadership development experience. AIL is for select high school students and is based at Adventurous Christians camp. It's a powerful time of learning leadership principles and putting them into action, all in a guided, challenging environment.
