Youth Pastor's Connection is moving to Salem Covenant

The Connection is a great time to meet with other youth pastors to know you're not alone in this crazy calling to adolescents and their families. We meet once a month during the school year (except December) to connect with each other, to pray for each other, to learn and to be encouraged.

The kick-off is Thursday, 9/18, from 12-3 p.m. Bring your lunch and meet us at Salem Covenant 2655 5th St NW, New Brighton, MN 55112 www.salemcov.org

Next month, we're meeting on 10/23 due to MEA. Tim Ciccone, the Covenant's youth ministry leader, will join us.

Other meeting dates are Nov. 20, Jan. 15, Feb. 19, March 19, April 16 and May 21.

VIVE

VIVE logo What do your students know about FAFSA forms and college essays? Some don't have a clue, and their lack of information will cost them a college degree. For students who are the first in their family to go to college, applying to schools can be overwhelming.

VIVE is a college prep event for under-represented students in grades 7 through 12. VIVE's mission is to encourage and prepare these young students to choose a college education. Parents and youth pastors and other adults who are invested in students are welcome. The event is free and a continental breakfast is provided.

CHIC 2015 Transportation

Do you know how you're getting to CHIC? Forget sleepless leaders who didn't get a decent night's sleep all week. Don't worry about the rusty church van breaking down in the middle of Illinois. Take the hassle out of planning the travel and ride a Northwest Conference bus.

For $205, your students and leaders not only get to ride in luxury, but they get a custom-designed NWC CHIC t-shirt. But that's not all! They also get breakfast the morning we head home.
