Northwest Conference staff updates
The NWC is pleased to announce the birth of Juniper "June" Eve Stromberg, born Wednesday afternoon at 2:45 p.m. The proud parents are our Director of Children & Family Ministry Kara Stromberg, and her husband, Nate. Little Juniper weighed in at 5 lbs., 14 oz. Congratulations Kara and Nate! However, it is with sadness that we also share with you that Mike Brown, our director of church planting, lost his father in a fatal car accident on Wednesday evening. Please be in prayer for Mike, Julie, and his entire family. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Dassel, MN. And the funeral is Monday, Aug. 5, at 3 p.m. at the church. And so we celebrate new life and grieve a tragic loss of life all at the same time ... These events serve as a reminder to each of us that life is both precious and unpredictable. Yet, we trust God from the beginning of it until the very end, knowing that nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God through Christ our Lord. God's peace to both Kara and Mike as they experience God's love in the midst of joy and sorrow ...
