Children & Family Ministry Connection is off to a great start!
Children & Family Ministers and volunteers met for the second time on May 16 at the Northwest Conference. After some juggling with the worship connection to see who had the most people and therefore, got to claim the conference room, the 8 of us enjoyed a spirited discussion on ministry to families, exchanged contact info and spent time in prayer for one another.
We plan to offer more of these gatherings this fall, on the third Thursday of each month from noon-3. Dates are as follows:

Train your Children/Youth Ministry teams this fall
The team that brings you Recharge is putting together another event for late summer so you can get started well this fall. Details are still being worked out but the event will be called "Charge" and the date is set for Saturday, Aug. 24, at Cornerstone Church in Crystal, MN.
Cost will be roughly $20/person for the early bird rate. This will be a half-day event where you can have the option of staying for lunch, then spending time doing your own training/planning with your team.
Then come back on Jan. 11, 2014, for a full day of training at Recharge, located this year in Brooklyn Park. Contact Kara Stromberg or Youth Leadership for more information.
