Recharge is this weekend! Meet us for lunch.  Recharge is this Saturday, January 12 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. And the Covenant crew is gathering for lunch! YPC: Thursday, Jan. 17 
Brave the cold and join us for January's YPC! Tiger McLuen will be our speaker. If you're not familiar with Tiger, he's the president of Youth Leadership, an adjunct professor at Bethel Seminary, a former youth pastor and a great speaker. We meet Thursday, 1/17, from 12-3 p.m. at Bethlehem Covenant (3141 43rd Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55406-2292) www.bethlehemcov.org. Bring a lunch. Our dates for 2013 are February 21, March 21, April 18, and May 16. |
Upcoming Spring NWC Events Midwinter - Feb. 4-8 Every year, Covenant leaders gather for a week of education and encouragement. This year, we're in San Diego! If you're attending, keep Tuesday night open. After worship, NWC youth pastors are getting together for food and a chance to hang out. MOVE 2013 - April 12-13
M.O.V.E. is the NWC's high school service and learning experience, hosted by 1st Covenant Minneapolis. Registration coming in early February. Because this is an ACT test date, we strongly encourage you to make students aware of alternative test dates http://www.actstudent.org/regist/centers/. NWC Annual Meeting - April 25-27 Never been to a NWC annual meeting? You need to come to this one. Our guest speaker is Kara Powell, author of Sticky Faith, former youth pastor, researcher, speaker and advocate for youth and the church. Bring your senior pastor, leadership team and key parents as the whole church will be challenged to think about adolescents and youth ministry. Minnehaha Academy is the host of this year's meeting, as we help them celebrate their 100th anniversary. VIVE Road Trip If your 10-11 grade students have attended VIVE or are eligible for VIVE, let them know about a road trip to explore North Park University, May 2-4.
