Nick Magos Cancer Call Out Thanks Township for Support

The NICK MAGOS CANCER CALLOUT event is named after Nick Magos, who was one of the founders of the Somerset SWAT Team and had passed away to cancer.

The team decided to do a fundraiser for their brother and then discovered how many others were affected by cancer.  They then decided to make the Nick Magos Cancer Call Out an annual event.

Members of the Cancer Callout Committee presented Hillsborough Township with an appreciation plaque for their support of their annual event.

Youth Corp Honored For Their Service

At a recent Township Committee Meeting, the New Jersey Youth Corps of Middlesex was honored with a proclamation.  The Youth Corp provided municipal support to the Hillsborough Township Municipal Complex, by volunteering their services to the Department of Parks and Recreation.  They assisted with litter clean-up, recycling, graffiti clean-up, painting and beautifying the grounds of the Township.
