2015 Annual Rotary Fair Draws Record Crowds From Central Jersey
A one-day rain delay didn't dampen enthusiasm for the eighth annual Hillsborough Rotary Fair, which wrapped up its six-day run on Sunday, with overall attendance topping last year's 15,000 mark.  Crowds, young and old, filled the midway each night to try their hand at games of skill and chance, or to test their mettle on a dizzying array of rides that thrilled visitors from across Central Jersey.

"We couldn't have asked for a better outcome," commented Hillsborough Rotary President, John Shockley. "The Fair continues to attract more people each year, which translates into more funds for the Rotary Foundation to contribute to community organizations."

With the support of major sponsors, including Petrock's Liquors, Petrock's Bar & Grill, Weis Markets, Unity Bank, Shop Rite and Majestic Midways, this year's Hillsborough Rotary Club featured over 20 of the latest carnival rides, as well as a free, 20-minute  long fireworks extravaganza on Friday evening.  The 101.5 New Jersey radio station host, Ray "The Prize Guy," was on hand once again on Friday evening to meet and greet his fans.

All the funds raised by the Hillsborough Rotary Club at the annual Fair and throughout the year are contributed to a wide variety of community support services including a Hillsborough High School scholarship fund, the Hillsborough Food Pantry, Autism research and treatment services, a wheel chair accessible van for Hillsborough residents, and the Boy and Girl Scouts.
