Township Recognizes Artistic Talents

Last fall, as part of the 5th Anniversary of the Senior Activity Room, a caf themed mural was painted on the far wall as part of the redesign, thanks to the donated talent of Mr. Kevin Murphy of the Art Academy of Hillsborough.  Just down the hall, across from the Recreation office a mural depicts a rendition of three of the Township Parks,  thanks to the donated talents of Miss Amanda Crossen.  Supplies for both of the projects were also donated by Mr. Murphy.  Mayor Doug Tomson and the Township Committee thanked and presented the duo with certificates of appreciation.

Cold Weather Reminder from Engineering

Sump pump discharge to the street creates icing on the streets in the cold winter months.  Homeowners are responsible to determine if their sump pump discharge is creating an icing condition on a public street.  Icing conditions are to be eliminated by the homeowner.  Sometimes the icing occurs down the street, in front of a neighbor's home.  If a claim is made resulting from an auto accident or other injury related to sump pump discharge, the homeowner could be held liable.  Please contact the Engineering Department if you have any additional questions (908-369-4460).
