Wildlife & Health Tips From The Township's Health Department
|
It's summertime, and we are all spending more time outdoors. It is also the time of year for people and pets to come into closer contact with wildlife. Usually, wildlife lives in close proximity to humans without us even knowing about it. But during the warmer months, we are outside more, and wild animals are as well. Recently, there have been bear sightings and coyote sightings among the usual raccoons, skunks, foxes, opossums, groundhogs, etc. Close contact with these animals can be dangerous. If the animal is startled, or if it is rabid, it may be particularly dangerous. For more information, click here...
