Hillsborough Township Hosts First Ever Business Summit
|
In the ongoing effort for collaboration with the Business Community, Hillsborough Township hosted its first Business Summit on March 27th. Presentations by the regulatory departments were geared towards understanding the process for obtaining the required permits and authorizations for opening or renovating a business. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in a question and answer session. That was immediately followed by the exhibit hall, which allowed attendees to obtain handouts and checklists as well as meet with the departments one on one to build relationships and discuss any individual questions. "As a follow up, the feedback gathered through the summit will be reviewed and where feasible implemented; additionally, focus groups will be created to continue the improvement process," stated Mayor Frank DelCore.
