| 2014 Small Group Plans Have Been Approved |

I am pleased to report that Coventry Health Care of Virginia, Inc. has received approval from the Bureau of Insurance for the 2014 small group products.
What You Need to Sell: 2014 SG Benefit Plan Grid, includes Enrollment Spreadsheet
Just a few reminders about small group sales and renewals for 2014:
- No medical underwriting
- Member-based rates
- A small employer is one who employed an average of at least one but not more than 50 employees in the preceding calendar year. To get the average, you should include full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees.
We are officially open for January small group business. BenefitExpress is already available for new sales and renewals will be released in BenefitExpress on Friday, October 18.
When submitting the enrollment spreadsheet, you have two options:
- By FAX: 1-866-288-6402
- By email: Encrypt the Excel spreadsheet with a password, then ZIP the file, and send to CHCVA_SalesAdministration@cvty.com. DO NOT include the password in the same email. Send an additional email with the password to the same address: CHCVA_SalesAdministration@cvty.com. Please note: there is an underscore (_) between "CHCVA" and "SalesAdministration" in the email address.
Your new business client will need to sign off for authorization to use this spreadsheet. A sign-off sheet is attached on a separate tab within the spreadsheet.
