The Great Unknown
According to a study cited by AHIP, it is estimated that in 2014, restrictions on age rating could result in premium increases up to 42 percent for people aged 21 to 29 and up to 31 percent for people aged 30 to 39. In addition to age rating restrictions, ACA also imposes new taxes, fees, and required benefits that could result in further premium increases.
