I cannot believe April is already here. With the weather changing I'm sure everyone is busy and getting ready for the even busier summer months ahead! Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Home Show preview party. It was well attended and so much fun! We were able to show some of our new members what a great time we have together. We hope to see you again at our next GMM.

I hope everyone had a successful Home Show weekend and are starting to see some results. Thank you to all of our Home Show exhibitors and volunteers. There were a lot of great things to see at this year's Home Show and the attendance was consistent with 2015. Terra Yard Creations did a fantastic job with their chalk paint demos and created some great pieces! Big thanks to ABC Seamless of Janesville for sponsoring the Home Show, Simmons Fence for the $500 Giveaway and WI Building Supply for sponsoring the Scavenger Hunt, and Home Depot for their popular Kid's Club .

April 19th is SCWBA's next GMM/Social Event. It will be hosted by 1401 Design by Barnes Building & Remodeling, located at 1401 Cranston Road in Beloit. Please attend, bring a guest and catch up with your fellow members. Come and participate in this fun and relaxed atmosphere from 5-7pm and enjoy a few snacks and beverages provided by Chad & Dawn Barnes. Participate in the "Meat Raffle" being planned by the Membership Committee. Bring home some meat for as little as $3 a chance. Did somebody say, WIN MEAT? Sign me up!

Save the date for the May 31st Student Build Open House/GMM. Show these hard working kids that we support them and all of their efforts. The house is really coming along nicely. Great job to everyone involved!

The Golf Committee has begun planning the always popular event for June 23rd at the beautiful Koshkonong Mounds Country Club. It's sure to be the event of the year! So, "X" out that date on your calendar and join us for golf, networking and a super great time! I hear Tiger might make an appearance this year.
