There are few topics as important as the defense of the country and we would add, the defense of the culture. Until Obama, it has been the most important obligation of any President and is a sworn oath of office. There are significant indications that our current President has not only disregarded this obligation but that he and certain of his closest advisers have been working since he has been in office to undermine America's military effectiveness. This has been undertaken by, as Commander in Chief, forcing certain policies and procedures on the military.

Anyone who has watched the number of retired Admirals and Generals (who have appeared on national television) render their opinion about President Obama's rule over the military as Commander in Chief has heard and seen many expert opinions where our military capability has been crippled. Then, of course, we have seen the unbelievable failure of our policies in the Middle East, courtesy of Hillary and Obama.

We have been told over and over by both retired and active duty military professionals how suffocating rules of engagement, social engineering, political decision making and political correctness have taken their toll on our military capabilities and may have caused many soldiers to be unnecessarily exposed to danger. These policies have now been in place for years and, in our opinion have penetrated deeply. They may have become critical to the very survival of the nation. We believe these misguided policies have been a deliberate intent from the start of the Obama Administration.

The following is a link to an article concerning what may have been happening at Fort Benning, a major military training center for the Army's elite Rangers unit. If any of what is alleged in this article is the case and similar policies have been forced on other units of our armed forces, as we feel they have, then we have big trouble in our military. We need to know the facts and understand the implications and this should be a first order of business with the Congress.
