The Need to Demand "Action" Leadership
by Chuck MacNab
We want to know why the republican controlled house of representatives gave 500 million dollars to the Obama defense department to train and support an Assad opposition armed force in Syria. After more than a year and 50 million dollars spent, the Administration has failed to field more than a handful of fighters. According to news reports and Congressional testimony from a 4 star general we have spent 50 million dollars out of the 500 million allocated, to train and field less than ten fighters. This is an outrage!
As usual, Congress holds hearings, issues press releases and
DOES NOTHING to remedy this White House controlled incompetence.
News reports also state that the fighters from this force have recently turned over most of their U.S. equipment to an ISIS affiliate known as Al Nusra. This is another, and continuing, outrage. Such repeated incidents represent intolerable incompetence and we demand to know why Congress has not used its power of the purse to punish those in the Administration who had anything to do with creating and handling such a program.
U.S. citizens should be demanding change. Under the Obama Administration's policy of money transfer and nuclear capitulation to Iran and systematic destruction of the U.S. military, we are within a stone's throw of having an incompetent armed force whose effectiveness will have been destroyed by a President who is too obviously managing an unbelievable surrender to our most dangerous enemies. Under the direction of his most trusted Muslim White House adviser, Valerie Jarrett, he is orchestrating the defeat of western civilization. Something that Muslim radicals could not do over hundreds of years!
If U.S. national capitulation continues, and it could well be that our security has been seriously compromised already, terrorists may be walking up your driveway in broad daylight beheading and bagging your neighbors and members of your family. At that point, there will be no American armed force that can stop them!
Do we want to wait for things to get that bad? Certainly failing to act will move us rapidly in that direction. The house controls the purse strings and is apparently unwilling to hold an incompetent administration accountable.
As a start, we need a change in leadership in both the House and the Senate. We need Congressional leadership that will act effectively to stop the incompetence and corruption that is now a hallmark of government at many levels. We need to remove the PC mentality on both the armed forces and the society. Free people will act in their own best interest if given the facts and the opportunity and the current Administration has demonstrated beyond any doubt that they and their "Woodstock graduates" intend to remove freedom from the agenda. In 2016 we need to elect a President who will act to halt the plunge toward what can only be viewed as retracing the progress made by civilization and in particular the current government's series of national security disasters.
