An agreement between Obama and Iran allowing the Iranian Mullahs to obtain nuclear weapons is an absolute disaster and a much greater danger to our national security than most people realize. One of our Missouri Senators, Claire McCaskill, is on record as supporting this truly terrible threat and people should understand that she is voting for solely political reasons and is blatantly disregarding her oath of office. Why any Senator, Republican or Democrat would vote for this agreement is mind boggling! Every possible method available to Congress should be used to stop it.

We paraphrase Senator Ted Cruz in asking why we would allow an opponent whose leaders threaten to unleash a nuclear holocaust on both Israel and the United States to have the ability to do so. It seems literally insane to hand Iran both the money and the technology to obliterate Israel and threaten to turn American cities into uninhabitable nuclear wastelands? If you believe such a nightmare cannot happen to St. Louis, just ponder the fact that one of our nation's most important defense manufacturing facilities is located in St. Louis. Boeing would be one of the first targets on their list and Obama is releasing the funds for them to be able to buy an ICBM delivery system from Putin's Russia.

Senator McConnell should invoke the 51 vote majority to at least force Obama to exercise his veto. The precedent has already been set by Harry Reid. This would place Obama and those in Congress who support him on this issue on record as having opened the door to one of the worst threats to the security of U.S. citizens since WW II.
