After the hard lessons learned during the debacle that was the Vietnam War, the American military, along with the leadership of President Ronald Reagan, built itself into the most powerful and effective fighting force the world has ever known. That military capability has now been all but destroyed by aggressive government promotion of political correctness pursued for political purposes and without regard for the consequences by the radical Democrats and the Obama Administration. A weak America will cause our children and theirs to engage in "boots on the ground" warfare for most of their lives, at least until the money to support a viable national defense runs out! This, like the crumbling and crime infested cities or America, is the legacy that Barack Obama and his radical liberal cohorts will leave behind.
