We now have a study that shows just how incompetent the government is at maintaining and managing airport security. This is yet another government program that joins the long list of failures that the Obama Administration has either created or mismanaged. The most bloated, corrupt and made worse among these are Amtrak, the Post Office, the Internal Revenue Service, immigration and the border, etc. The list seems endless and taxpayer money is STILL pouring out the door. The amount of bungling and incompetence illustrates how vehemently the Democrats admire incompetency. This may well cost the U.S. population its savings, its health care, its ability to defend the country and its individuals their solvency. Yet elected leaders in Congress and the general public just sit and take it... Oops, I forgot... Congress is having "hearings!"
The numbers are stunning. Media reports that 96% of the time security testers were able to smuggle almost any weapon or explosive device through the security screenings at airports without being detected. Long ago we wrote that the government should hire the Israeli's to set up and manage our airport and aviation security. They know how to do it! However, Obama dislikes Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu so I guess that's out! Maybe he could ask the Iranians to advise us about airport security...but then again, they would bargain for our know-how in building nuclear warheads and ballistic missiles and otherwise only know how to blow things up so that's out too! I guess we will just have to struggle along only engineers who vote right. If there are any job openings, only those with a proven background for being politically correct need apply. Oh, and if Hillary should be elected in 2016, that set or rules for hiring and continue employment will be ratcheted up to include nearly everyone in the country, certainly everyone who might have disagreed with her. We imagine her guiding principle will be, "If we liberal elitists can't vote them out, we'll starve them out!" Obama is well down the road toward achieving that goal now.
For many years we have been pointing out that security screening at airports is a joke. What is being done, as we have often stated, is a PR campaign to protect the reputations of politicians, kick back some big bucks to those managing it, pad the job numbers and convince the public that "something" is being done to protect them from a terrorist attack while traveling. We now see (what was coming was obvious to some of us a long time ago) that this very expensive and bloated government program is being mismanaged even worse than the Post Office... and we all know how bloated and incompetent the Postal Service continues to be.
If you are wondering where Obama and his fellow travelers squandered the trillions of dollars they have collected from the taxpayers since radical liberals gained control of the Presidency, all you have to do is look at the enormous amount of waste, corruption, chaos and mismanagement that has taken place during Democrat controlled administrations. It reminds us of what has taken place in Africa under tribal rule. After those who knew how to run a government were driven out, massive corruption, mismanagement, disease and chaos took over. If we don't pay attention and turn things around your children and maybe even you, will not recognize America. It will look, act and feel more like Nigeria or Zimbabwe.
