Boston University's Assistant Professor of sociology and African-American Studies, Saida Grundy, tweeted that "white, college-aged males are a problem population" and that she avoids shopping at white owned businesses. To access the source article link to:
Still mad about slavery

Cats can't read minds, but Growltiger assumes Dr. Grundy was referencing the Rolling Stone article about the gang rape at the University of Virginia, which didn't happen, or the news media's and Duke Professors' near-fatal hysteria over the gang rape at a party house at Duke University which didn't happen either. But Progressives rarely are confused by the facts, so let's just agree in Progressive La-La Land these non-rapes could have happened, just didn't, and for the sake of argument, assume that they might have. Growltiger hopes that makes sense, but making sense of Progressive/Liberal/Leftist logic is a stretch, so we might should just ought to move on. Besides, without the Internet, Fox News, Talk Radio, the Washington Times, the Drudge Report et al, we wouldn't have access to this information in the first place. Oh, for the good old days when only liberal outlets told you what you needed to know.

The controversy about white people is not Dr. Grundy's first dance. In 2008, she waltzed into the legal system after opening a fake account in another woman's name on an "adult website". The woman in whose name she opened the account discovered the deed and called the cops. Ms. Grundy was charged with felony identity theft, felonious use of computers to commit a crime and a misdemeanor of malicious use of a telecommunications device. Ms. Grundy pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor in exchange for dismissing the felonies. She was put on probation which ended in June, 2009. Readers can access the source article at:
Dr. Grundy is sorry for what she said

Those who aren't sure exactly what an "adult website" is can Google it. (Growltiger did). Apparently one has to have the exact http address, however, so what comes up is a Google list of related topics one of which explains: "Adult web hosting refers to the web hosting companies who allows the web-masters to host the websites with adult/porn contents on their servers..."

As Dr. X would say, "well, okay din."

Far be it for Growltiger to snoop into any adult, American citizen, non terrorist's activities--that's the NSA's job--and if Ms. Grundy wanted to visit adult websites, that's her business. In fact, one might argue that since the root word logy means "the study of (a certain subject)" adult websites by their very definition are "social" and Ms. Grundy being a sociologist was only engaged in social studies.

Okay, that one is a stretch even for Progressive logic.

Back in February (2015), Dr. Grundy tangoed into a Facebook fight when she responded to a white woman who posted that she'd been raped. Below is an excerpt from this college professor's reply. All capitals is internet-speak for shouting and/or emphasis.

"This is the (expletive) I AM TALKING ABOUT. WHY DO YOU GET TO PLAY THE VICTIM EVERY TIME PEOPLE OF COLOR AND OUR ALLIES WANT TO POINT OUT RACISM. my CLAWS?? Do you see how you just took an issue that WASNT about you, MADE it about you, and NOW want to play the victim when I take the time to explain to you some (expletive) that is literally $82,000 below my pay grade?..."

Keep in mind, this link takes you to the Washington Times which prints information the majority media believes you don't need to know about.

A Boston University spokesman stated that while BU does not condone racism or bigotry in any form and is "deeply saddened when anyone makes such offensive statements...the opinions expressed by Dr. Grundy in what were seemingly private electronic messages, constitutes her opinion and we must recognize her right to have that opinion whether or not we agree."

Growltiger cannot help but wonder what action BU would have taken had a white professor made similar comments about African-Americans on social media and showed such blatant snobbery as to explain to a woman she was arguing with that she was taking the time to "explain to you some (expletive) that is literally $82,000 below my pay grade?..."

Growltiger is confident no white professor would voice such opinions against Americans of African descent, but were a white professor be that foolish, Growltiger is sure she or he would be terminated immediately and probably never allowed to teach again. That such a double standard exists in the American Academy is disturbing, but not half so disturbing as the patronization shown Dr. Grundy by not holding her to the same standards as her Caucasian colleagues.
