SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY

Mary Landrieu whom Louisiana has sent to the Senate since 1996 when a treasure trove of votes from New Orleans overwhelmed her Republican opponent (who had been leading in exit polls all day) thanked her voters by calling them racist and sexist. Apparently (according to Landrieu) Louisianans are so clueless they had no idea they were electing a woman else they'd have voted against her. They must not have very good eye-sight either because they haven't noticed their governor is Indian-American.

Senator Landrieu isn't alone in Hail Marying the racist-sexist meme. Ads promoting Senator Kay Hagan (D-North Carolina) are attempting to stampede African-Americans into the voting booths by claiming her opponent was (the) reason Tray Martin got shot in Florida by a "white Hispanic". "White Hispanic" is a new term--actually an entirely new race--coined by mainstream media when they didn't want to pit the various hyphenated Americans against each other.

Campaign fliers using images of lynchings, threatening a return of Jim Crow laws and riots like those that occurred in Ferguson, MO, have gone out to black voters in Georgia, Maryland and North Carolina. As Rodney King would say, "can't we all get along" (to the polling place and pull the lever for the Democrat.) The wonder is not that the Democrats do this stuff, the wonder is that it works and African-Americans remain convinced the party of Abraham Lincoln is responsible for all the bad things that happened to them in the past.

Meanwhile, out in Iowa, courageous Democrats are doing battle against Jodie Ernst's "War on Women" which is sort of like accusing the Israelis of conducting a war against Jews. Speaking of the Jews, someone high up in the Obama Administration just called Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, "chickens- -t". That it is impossible to imagine anyone in this Administration using such a pejorative against the President of Mexico, Venezuela, South Africa or Kenya shows exactly what some in this Administration think of their Jewish constituents. Even so, Growltiger suspects Jewish-Americans will continue to support the Democrats. Somehow they're convinced that the Left has their interests at heart, even managing to convince themselves that Hitler's National Socialist Party was right wing. As for women, they're hopeless. Any female who doesn't know the difference between contraception and abortion obviously shouldn't be procreating.

NOTE: The Missouri Patriot and RiteOn have full permission to publish Growltiger's commentaries.
