Our Final "B" event
What do you get when nine EWGAers play their hand at a rousing afternoon of Bunco? Wild screams. Big sighs. Flying dice. Plenty of munchies. And awards bestowed on jubilant winners - Bonnie LaFord, Susan Weiner, Leslie Reister, and Linda Erickson.
This late March event was the last of our 3B's off-season social trilogy: Bowling, Beverages and Bunco. Nearly 40 EWGA members and guests enjoyed time together at the 3Bs - a perfect way to bide time while the rains came and before golfing season started. Now our social times will include rounds of golf!
GOLFSMITH WOMEN'S NIGHT

Women's Night a great success!
Twenty-two attended the St. Patrick's Day GolfSmith/golfTEC Women's Night Event (nineteen EWGA members and three prospective members). In addition to great discounts on merchandise and services offered by both GolfSmith and golfTEC, several Nike representatives were onsite and conducted the putting and straightest drive contests.
The winner of the playoff match on the putting contest was Kathy Root and straightest drive contest winner was Cindy Farrell. Both were awarded a prize by Nike of their choice of a new pair of Nike shoes. EWGA-PDX president Jodenne Scott was the lucky winner of the raffle drawing for a $50 GolfSmith gift card.

MATCH PLAY
Four-Ball Fun at Stone Creek May 30
Join Us for some Four-Ball Fun on May 30 at Stone Creek Golf Club. If you have never played four-ball, it is a friendly golf format where you have the support of a teammate. The rules of golf allow -- and actually encourage -- advice-giving with your playing partner. It's not often you can have someone help you read a putt and still play by the rules. The date is Monday, May 30, beginning at 9:30 a.m. with an informational meeting. Tee times start at 10 a.m.The event fee includes greens fee, cart and range balls. CARTS ARE REQUIRED.
Plan to join us after your round at Lil Cooperstown Bar & Grill. Early Birdie price is $63 if you register by 8 p.m.May 13. The Bogey price is $68 when registering May 14-20.
