Improving Forecast Accuracy: The Fundamentals

Most manufacturers recognize that forecast accuracy is a key contributor to their success. Inaccurate forecasts increase costs and reduce customer satisfaction. But, what are the most important considerations to achieving the greatest accuracy? As dedicated members, you have reaped the rewards of APICS certification and participation in APICS events! During the holiday season, the gift of sharing is on everybody's mind. In that spirit, we are launching a new program to reward our members who refer APICS to their colleagues and friends.
Members can earn points for non-member sign up referrals to PDMs, seminars, classes, workshops, and most importantly, membership. The more you spread the word, the more points you earn! |

We are well underway for the 2012/2013 APICS year. I am excited about some of the new things happening this year and I hope our members are too. Last week I took part in a pilot test of a new simulation training class that we will hopefully be launching soon called The Fresh Connection.
