Keynote2013
January 2013

Welcome to the O∆K Keynote.

Here's a look at what's happening in O∆K:
The Circle Magazine

TheCircle2012-3
The winter issue of The Circle magazine is now available online

This issue celebrates O∆K Reaching New Heights on campus, in our communities and even beyond our atmosphere. We chat with four O∆K members from NASA that share their inspiring stories of hard work and leadership tactics. We celebrate several Circle milestone anniversaries and hear from one O∆K Olympian who took home gold at the London games. You can also meet the new National Advisory Council and read about the impact our Clay Grants are making across the country.

Keep in mind that while the next issue of The Circle will be digital, we still want to share the great things our members are doing, so send me your stories. The deadline for the spring issue of The Circle is February 1, 2013.

Omicron Delta Kappa is excited to announce a one year partnership with Teach for America to help connect local Circles with local Teach for America recruiters.

Teach For America recruits a diverse group of leaders with a record of achievement who work to expand educational opportunity in low income communities, starting by teaching for two years in a low-income community. Teach For America provides intensive training, support, and career development that helps these leaders increase their impact and deepen their understanding of what it takes to close the academic achievement gap. Teach For America fosters a growing movement of leaders, now 33,000 strong, who work at every level of education, policy, and other professions, to ensure that all children can receive an excellent education.
