And our Blizzard Buster Barn Buddy
Winner Is...
Rich Hedlund!

Volunteer Adam graciously picked our winning volunteer out of the glass jar at the end of last week to receive the Huge basket that has been on display in the office! The Blizzard Buster Barn Buddy's are volunteers that brave the cold, ice and snow to help with Turn In/Turn Out and Stall Cleaning! Volunteers get 1 ticket per hour of volunteering on these blustery days! Thank you for ALL your Hard Work and Dedication to Hearts & Horses. We wouldn't be able to do it without you!

Interested in being a Blizzard Buster Barn Buddy? With a couple more months of winter we have another prize for you waiting in the office!
Come on out on those cold wintery days and you could be
entered to win a prize as well!

Kroh Construction Pictures

As you can see there are some MAJOR changes going on in the Kroh Arena! Check out our updates below to see what things riders and volunteers need to consider when heading out to the ranch!
Kroh Construction Update and Safety Concerns

As we come into January and the next few months you will see many new changes to the ranch and Kroh
Arena! We will be doing our best to keep everyone updated with the construction and new walking paths as well as the accessibility of facilities. Coming into Session 1 some new things to consider when planning are
  • Only Authorized Personnel will be allowed into the tack area in the Kroh Arena.
  • NO RIDERS will be allowed into the Kroh Arena, this includes the tack area and tack stalls.
  • The Kroh Bathroom is no longer available. The Port-A-Potty is the only bathroom facility so please plan accordingly.
  • If you need to warm up, you can head to the classroom for some hot cocoa or tea!
  • All horse traffic should go to the North of the Kroh Arena and then around to the McKee Arena.
  • Kiddos MUST be supervised at ALL times.
  • There is NO HEATED ARENA so please layer up and do whatever necessary to stay warm!
Thanks for YOU and all you do!

Sincerely,

Your Hearts and Horses Family
