Cliff Uber's
DRIVE2RIDE
"Every year I visit Hearts and Horses and I am reminded of the power these great animals have to heal. From helping veterans, seniors, at-risk youth and riders with disabilities, the programs out at Hearts and Horses do make a difference. I have cherished those I have met through the program and feel honored to fund raise again this year. The fund raiser is also in honor of Cliff, an amazing horseman and rider who passed away. I am privileged to have met Cliff and watch him ride. I'll never forget when he told me that "on the back of a horse, he had four good legs."
To create your own fundraising page in honor of Cliff, visit our website HERE.

Hearts and Horses receives funds from Larimer County Open Space for the Sensory Garden
Rocks are in place, trees have been planted, irrigation is in......now the FUN begins in the garden! Thanks to the Larimer County Small Lands grant we will now be able to plant shrubs and create educational signs for the garden. We have lots to do.
Interested in Helping with the Garden?
Our Needs: May 1 - May 25 - Contact local nurseries with our plant and shrub list to see where we can get the best deal on shrubs. We are in need of 60-70 drought tolerant, native shrubs. Tamara can provide a list of potential nurseries (so we do not duplicate efforts) as well as background information on the sensory garden. May 27- Ranch Beautification Day! Assist in planting annuals around the property and shrubs in the sensory garden. We will begin hosting a 3-day workshop on the 28th and will have visitors from all over the country at the ranch, help us make it SHINE! June 11 - Plant seedlings in the sensory garden. We had a few very generous people take on a winter sowing project for the sensory garden. These folks nurtured little seedlings all winter and now we will have hundreds of flowers and grasses to beatify the sensory garden.
Come do a little horticultural therapy with us! Interested? Contact Tamara a tamara@heartsandhorses.org
