Saturday, April 5

12:00pm to 2:00pm

CSU's Monfort Quadrangle

Join the CSU Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Occupational Therapy, and Pre-Pharmacy Clubs for an afternoon of fun for all ages at this community event. Activities will include: games, pictures with the Easter Bunny, face painting, crafts, prizes, and the official Easter Egg Hunt! Families are welcome, activities and refreshments will be provided and the whole event is free!

Awesome Amore (aka "Amy")

 

 

Awesome Amore, better known as "Amy", is a beautiful nine year old American Paint Horse Association registered mare. Amy's owner, Debbie Dehn, says that they "gave her the registered name of Awesome Amore for love and nicknamed her Amy" since she was born on Valentine's Day, 2005!
Amy spent her first two years traveling the country as a halter horse before starting her training to be a riding horse. Since being trained to ride, Amy has had a leisurely life on her home farm, but has also been used in 4-H and as a Western Dressage horse. 

We are so excited to have Amy on trial as a part of our herd, be sure to check her out next time you visit!

 

 

 

 

Lexlin Gypsy Gift

We are feeling the LOVE from our Facebook friends (and friends of friends)!  We are off to a great start in the voting for the Lexlin Gypsy Gift, and as of the publication of this Heartbeats, we are just barely in second place. Thank you so much to everyone who has voted. 

 

If you haven't started voting yet, here's the deal: As nominations of non-profit PATH Intl. centers come in, they are posted on LexLin Gypsy Ranch's fan page on Facebook for you to "like" and share to spread the word in support of your chosen center. There will be five centers selected on July 4th to receive horses. The top 4 nominated centers with the most fan "likes" and 1 center chosen by LexLin staff will be entered into a lottery drawing on July 4, 2014 to select a horse for their program. To add to the fun, you also get to vote for your favorite Gypsy Horse to be gifted in the program! 

This is a Facebook contest -- you can vote once every 24 hours for the horse you would like to see donated and the center which you would like to see the horse go to. 

 

 

Cliff's DRIVE2RIDE is an online fundraiser established in loving memory of Cliff Uber, our dear friend who passed away in 2012. Cliff inspired every heart he touched - fellow riders, volunteers, our staff and our horses. 100% of all proceeds raised go directly to the Hearts & Horses Scholarship Fund. More details along with some exciting news coming very soon!
