"I wanted to comment on the HUGE emotional lift I received from Charlie!! When a person with a condition like MS has a setback, the physical part can be very challenging, but the emotional drain is just as traumatic. Today when Charlie decided to "snuggle" his head on my shoulder as I began to groom him, I was comforted in a way that I have never experienced. It brought tears to my eyes, and I didn't want those moments (which perhaps lasted several minutes) to end. When I finally pulled away from his embrace and went to the other side to brush him, he repeated the "head-on-my shoulder" hug on the opposite side. I have never experienced such a compassionate moment, where it truly seemed he sensed I needed his warm touch. I would be very happy if you'd share this email with the owners!! Whole Foods Community Day- Stay Tuned!
 We are so excited that the Fort Collins team members from Whole Foods Market selected Hearts and Horses to be a 5% Community Day recipient for the 2014 calendar year! On these community giving days (known as "5% Days"), five percent of that day's net sales are donated to a local nonprofit. We're so grateful to be chosen along with these wonderful organizations: FoCo Cafe, Beet Street and The Growing Project. Hearts and Horses' 5% Day will be in the 3rd quarter, so we'll keep you informed as it is set. Thank you to Whole Foods - you are such a wonderful community partner!

Karen Fournier Wins Bronze at the Telly Awards!
The Telly Awards has named our very own Karen Fournier as a Bronze winner in the 34th Annual Telly Awards for the videos she created for our "Riding in the Moment" and "Hearts and Horses for Heroes" programs! With nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, this is truly an honor. We are so excited to have program videos receive this award, and so honored to work with Karen and her company, Starstream Productions, LLC. Hearts and Horses is so lucky to have Karen take the lead on the creation of our wonderful videos!
