LMU-CVM Announces Partnership with Daemen College
Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine signed a memorandum of agreement on April 20 with Daemen College in Amherst, New York to offer an accelerated program that would allow students from Daemen College to earn a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at LMU-CVM. It is the first formal agreement like this that LMU-CVM has established with another institution. Read more...

Obituary
Dr. Harty Stewart Powell, 84, of Brentwood, died October 16, 2014. He earned his DVM and a master's degree in pathology from the University of Georgia. Dr. Powell served as director of the diagnostic laboratory at Ellington Agricultural Center in Nashville for 25 years prior to retirement. Earlier in his career, he directed diagnostic laboratories in Kentucky at Hopkinsville and Lexington. As a longtime member of TVMA, he was the recipient of an award of excellence in 1983, Distinguished Service award in 1991 and Lifetime Achievement award in 2002. He was survived by his wife, Betsy, a son, two daughters, and four grandchildren.
