The McCourt School Office of Career and Alumni Services is now the McCourt School Office of Career Development and Alumni Engagement. This name is reflective of the type of holistic, strategic approach we will take to support you and your professional and career-related needs beyond graduation. We will continue to provide one on one counseling, comprehensive Career Development skill-based training and extensive exposure to both employers and other McCourt alumni.

Last month, alumni and students got to enjoy an evening at the Robert and Bernice Wagner Alumni House for the 9th Annual McCourt Alumni-Student Networking Night, jointly sponsored by the Georgetown Public Policy Student Association and the McCourt School Alumni Board. In addition to sharing career ambitions and advice, attendees heard from Sophie Kim Goldmacher on the recent launch of the Georgetown Institute of Politics and Public Service.

McCourt School alumna Nakeisha Neal Jones, executive director of Public Allies DC, will be honored as Georgetown's 2016 John Thompson Jr. Legacy of a Dream Award recipient Jan. 18 at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The university presents the award at its free Martin Luther King Jr. Day musical celebration in January to an inspirational and emerging local leader as part of Georgetown's commitment to helping solve key issues in Washington, D.C.
