MTI Celebrates NYC at BDNY with NKBA-Manhattan
|

Cocktails and conversation at the MTI booth For more, we invite you to "like" our Facebook page
Capping off a very successful and well-attended Boutique Design New York 2016 show at the Jacob J. Javits Center in New York City, luxury bath manufacturer MTI hosted a cocktail party for NKBA-Manhattan chapter members and friends on November 14. Guests sipped drinks as they caught up with colleagues and visited the booth and its remarkable array of luxury bath fixtures. MTI President Russell Adams, Product Manager Art Gambill, and Director of Hospitality Dori Kallweit welcomed a large turnout of chapter members, and the enthusiastic crowd lingered until Javits began to literally roll up the carpet at show's end Monday evening.

FROM THE PRESIDENT
During this Thanksgiving season, we always take the time to reflect on the many things for which we are thankful. On behalf of the Manhattan Chapter Board of Directors, we sincerely thank all of you for your enthusiastic interest and support of the Manhattan chapter throughout the year. It has been our great pleasure to bring you the programs, events, and education that support our mission and promise to you, and we look forward to your continued participation and enjoyment in 2017.
I also want to thank the Board of Directors, auxiliary members, and design partners IDS and IFDA, who dedicated their time serving the membership this year. You are an awesome group of professionals, and it's been my honor to work with you. And to our sponsors Thermador, Grohe, and new sponsor, Richelieu, we especially thank you for your support.
We hope that you all had a chance to enjoy the Boutique Design New York trade show at the Jacob Javits Center. MTI Baths participated with a beautiful showing of modern tubs-one tub displayed an etching of the New York City skyline on its side! MTI topped off the show by hosting a delightful cocktail party for the NKBA-Manhattan membership.
Speaking of tubs, Drummonds opened its first North American showroom at Lapicida in the D&D Building, and celebrated in early November with a festive party featuring its classically-styled bath fixtures interspersed with the high-end marble and stone of Lapicida. Manhattan chapter members turned out to raise a glass and welcome Drummonds to NYC.
Finally, mark your calendars now for our biggest event of the year, the annual Winter Social, to be held on December 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the GROHE Live! Center, 160 Fifth Avenue. Check your email box for your invitation to RSVP. We look forward to seeing you all there as we close out the year with a splash!
