| |
Feedback from conservation districts sought
 | Screenshot of nonpointsourcepa.org website. |
PACD announces the launch of the "Nonpoint Source Pollution Prevention in Pennsylvania" website, www.nonpointsourcepa.org.
Information on funding sources and solutions are available to address:
- Agricultural Nonpoint Source Pollution
- Abandoned Mine Drainage (AMD) Pollution
- Stream Restoration
- Urban Stormwater Runoff
PACD invites conservation districts to visit the site and test it out. Please send comments and suggestions on the new website to Shannon Wehinger. After a "testing period," the website will be advertised across the state to watershed organizations, municipalities, etc.
In addition to the site, a pull-up banner display and handouts were also developed. Materials will be available for conservation districts and partnering agencies to use at various expos and upcoming events.
Financial and other support for this project is provided by the Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts, Inc. through a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection under Section 319 of the Clean Water Act, administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
