Farm Show Booth Had Over 650 One-On-One Contacts
| |
 |
Brandi Hunter-Davenport, PACD Director of Education, and Laura Anderson, Wyoming County Conservation District Environmental Education Coordinator and PACD Education and Outreach Committee Chair, during a shift at the conservation district booth at the 2013 PA Farm Show.
|
The conservation district booth at the PA Farm Show was a success! Volunteers met with more than 650 attendees throughout the week-long event. Booth visitors had a chance to play Conservation Jeopardy, receive information on their local conservation district, and get a temporary PACD tattoo.
These combined efforts resulted in a 14 percent increase in traffic to the "Find Your Conservation District" webpage hosted on the PACD website. PACD's website has experienced 32 percent increase in overall visits.
PACD wants to express our sincerest gratitude to each of the volunteers for their efforts with the 2013 showing. Whether you assisted with planning, the creation of the Conservation Jeopardy game board, with set up or tear down or with shift staffing, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! We could not have had our presence felt and known had it not been a collective effort.
