South JROTC Cadets Team Up With Lowes to Complete Community Service Project |
South JROTC Cadets team up with Lowes to help fellow students - This past March cadets from Sullivan South Air Force JROTC set out to help another group of students at their school. The space outside of the special education classroom was in much need of repair, so the cadets took the task on as a community service project. An aging privacy wall was taken down as well as several old planter boxes. In their place went a brand new vinyl fence and raised planter boxes, making the entire space more accessible to all the students. Although much of the work was completed by the cadets themselves, funding and the more technical aspects of the project was taken care of by Lowes and several of their employees. The care, expertise and professional ability of the Lowes team was critical in the transformation of this wonderful facility.
