On November 17th, changes will be made to the K12PaymentCenter website.  These changes will happen around 10:00 a.m. EST and should not take more than a few minutes.  We do not expect much disruption to the service, and customers will see a maintenance screen if they log on during the update.

One of the most exciting new features is the option for parents to either create a new account, or log into an existing account, using their Facebook credentials.  Details of this, and other changes are included in release notes, available here:K12PaymentCenter November 2015 Release Notes, or through this link if the hyper link does not function for you:http://www.mealsplus.com/Emails/Releases/K12PaymentCenterNov2015ReleaseNotes.pdf

Central Heights 4th Graders Rap about States of Matter
As part of enrichment time, fourth graders at Central Heights Elementary School learned and performed a rap about the states of matter.  Carol Camponovo, librarian at CHES, worked with the students to choreograph and perform the rap.  She even made the t-shirts!  Fourth grade knows very well how molecules move in each state of matter.

Ketron Celebrates Little Book Box
Members of the United Way and faculty, staff, and third graders of Ketron recently celebrated the addition of the Little Book Box.  The Little Book Box is located at the front entrance of Ketron and is filled with books that students can take home to read anytime.  Students have the choice of keeping or returning the book they have chosen. Thanks to the United Way and Misty Dockery for providing the Little Book Box and books for the students of Ketron.

Veterans Day at Sullivan North High School

Veterans Day was a busy one for the Cadets of Sullivan North Navy JROTC.

In the morning, Cadets Hauk, Gamble, Imlay and Hill conducted the Color Guard for Sullivan North Middle School's Veterans Day program. The program honored all Veterans and special recognition was given to local Veterans.

In the afternoon, Cadets from Sullivan North NJROTC along with Cadets from Sullivan South and Dobyns-Bennett AFJROTC conducted a joint color guard during the Veterans Day ceremony at the Kingsport Veterans Memorial.
