Students older than 18, are also eligible to participate if they are still enrolled in school. Children do not have to be enrolled in Sullivan County Schools to be eligible.

Lunches will be served 2 days per week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning June 1 and going through July 30.

Bluff City Middle Students Rewarded for Outstanding Effort on TCAPs
The students at Bluff City Middle School were all rewarded for their outstanding effort on TCAPs. Thanks to Smith Brothers Harley-Davidson and BCMS PTA, who sponsored the event, students received ice cream and then enjoyed exploring numerous types of vehicles including a drag bike, an Ultra Limited, a racing ATV, Dixieland Duramax Diesel hot-rod truck, racing four-wheelers (thanks to Michael Kohler), a tractor-trailer (thanks to David Sampson), a dump truck (thanks to Kerry Jones Trucking), and a custom Subaru WRX (thanks to Chance Davis). In conjunction with the school's drive for the Sullivan County Animal Shelter, Sullivan County K-9 Diablo was also on hand to demonstrate his skills and three pound puppies came with Sullivan County Animal Shelter Director, Becky Birdwell, to visit with students.

Summer Camp at Mary Hughes

Mary Hughes School offered our first ever summer day camp. The children had fun learning reading and math skills in a creative camp setting.
