Veteran's Day at Indian Springs Elementary
Veterans were honored at Indian Springs Elementary on November 11th.  Our 4th grade students invited relatives, neighbors and area veterans to our musical program.  Names of men and women who served our country were read during the performance.

Our special guest was 4th grader, Sam Tiller's Great Grandfather, William Large, a Navy World War II Veteran, age 95.  Mr. Large is seated among fourth graders.

Our music teacher, Mr. Kristian Hefner, along with the Sullivan Central High History Club, led the student body in a proud moment singing The Star Spangled Banner.

Father and son team Justin and Alic Mann competed in the Swim for Them on September 13, 2014 at the Kingsport Aquatic Center. Swim for Them is a charitable event in which swimmers raise funds for causes that inspire their passions. Founded in 2010, Swim for Them has grown from 3 participants to 48 raising over $68,000 along the way. This year, Justin and Alic swam for Miller Perry, raising over $1000.00 for the school.
