School Board Meeting Update 12-3-12
Director of Schools Report: School board members will present reward school banners to schools.
The following Consent Agenda Items were approved at tonight's board meeting:
- School Trip Requests
- Contract between South High School and Coca Cola
- School System Annual Compliance Report
The following items were approved at tonight's Board Meeting:
- Policy 1.802 Section 504 and ADA Grievance Procedures - Adoption on 3rd Reading
- Policy 4.406 Use of the Internet - Adoption on 3rd Reading
- Policy 5.701 Substitute Teachers - Adoption on 3rd Reading
- Policy 4.205 Enrollment in College Level Courses - Approval on 2nd Reading
- Operational Capacity for Buildings
- School Calendar for 2013-2014
Calendar A was approved by the board with the following amendment: The winter break scheduled for February 17 will be a regular school day for students. This changes the students' last day to be a half-day on Thursday, May 22. Teachers will have an administrative day on Friday, May 23, 2013. - Race to the Top Scope of Work Amendments
